AMY SEVERSON, F.N.P.
Amy Severson received a bachelor’s of science degree in nursing from Minnesota State University-Moorhead and a master’s of science degree in family practice from Wichita (Kan.) State University.
Severson is certified by American Nurses Credentialing Center since 2002, when she joined the medical staff at Tri-County Hospital. She sees patients from infants to elderly at Bertha Medical Clinic and Ottertail Area Medical Clinic, both clinics owned and operated by Tri-County Hospital in Wadena.
What she enjoys most about being a family nurse practitioner is the small-town atmosphere and her patients.
“I love rural health care, especially since I grew up near a small town. I enjoy getting to know families and taking care of the entire family,” said Severson.

Off Duty Interests and Activities:
Severson is a native of Ottertail and a graduate of Henning High School. She and her husband, Eric, live on East Battle Lake with children, Ethan and Emma. In her free time, Severson enjoys spending time with her family, scrap booking and snowmobiling.
