| ROBERT DAVIS, P.A.
As a Physician Assistant, Robert “Bob” Davis is a health care professional licensed to practice medicine with the supervision of a licenced physician. As a PA, Davis is qualified to obtain medical histories and perform examinations and procedures, order treatment, diagnose illnesses, prescribe medications, interpret diagnostic tests, and refer patients to specialists when appropriate. In addition, Davis first-assists general surgeon, Dr. Thomas Van Bruggen, with surgeries.
A native of New York Mills, Davis served in the U.S. Air Force from 1966 to 1970. He is a graduate of St. Cloud (Minn.) State University and the Allied Health Care Program. Upon completing his PA certification, he joined Wadena Medical Center (WMC) in 1975.
Davis chose to be a Physician Assistant so he could provide a higher level of care to patients. “I was a Surgical Tech in the Air Force for four years and a Surgical Tech at Tri-County Hospital from 1970 to 1972, and I wanted to further my involvement in patient care by becoming a PA.”
Davis says he especially enjoys working with the wonderful, caring people at WMC and caring for the medical needs of his patients.
