LISA A. MURDOCH, M.D.
Dr. Murdoch specializes in family medicine.
As a family practice physician, Dr. Lisa Murdoch is trained and qualified to provide care for the medical needs of the entire family, from newborns to the elderly. She provides pre-natal and obstetrics care at Wadena Medical Center, Henning Medical Clinic, and delivery services at Tri-County Hospital.
Dr. Murdoch is a 2001 medical school graduate of Oregon Health & Sciences University, Portland. She completed her residency with the Alaska Family Practice Residency, Anchorage. Dr. Murdoch also has a BA degree from Luther College and an MS degree from Montana State University, Bozeman.
Dr. Murdoch chose to be a family practice physician because she enjoys “taking care of the whole person and the whole family.” She adds, “I like helping people to be healthy in all aspects of their lives and not just treating one organ system. Seeing people of all ages is also very rewarding, from birth to helping with end-of-life issues.”
Dr. Murdoch joined Wadena Medical Center in August 2004. What she enjoys most about being a physician at Wadena Medical Center is “the continuity of care we are able to provide for our patients.”

Off Duty Interests and Activities:
She and her husband, Brian, have two children, Margaret and Tony. She enjoys Taekwondo, mountain biking, camping, and has recently taken up knitting.
