As a family practice physician, Dr. Martha Masciopinto is trained in all major areas of family practice and is qualified to care for most of the medical needs of the entire family, from infants to the elderly.
Dr. Martha received her medical degree from the University of Texas Medical School at Houston. She began her Family Medicine practice at Wadena Medical Center on July 25, 2011. She is board certified in family practice, which means she has fulfilled the necessary criteria established by the regulating board and has passed examinations that accredit her in the field of family practice.
Dr. Martha has a special interest in geriatrics, pediatrics, female medicine, nutrition and weight loss.
Dr. Martha was raised in Kalamazoo, Michigan. She has chosen to work at Tri-County Health Care because she enjoys the benefits that a rural setting provides – like serving patients who are so grateful for their care. Additionally, there are more extended families in the rural setting, giving her the opportunity to care for multiple generations simultaneously. “I’m looking forward to working with a team focused on addressing the health care needs of the residents of Wadena and the surrounding areas,” said Dr. Martha

In her free time, when she is not busy keeping up with her two daughter’s (Allison and Angelina) karate, soccer, softball and track schedules, Dr. Martha enjoys gardening, walking and recycling.
