Aaron E. Larson, M.D.AARON E. LARSON, M.D.

Dr. Larson specializes in family medicine.

As a family practice physician, Dr.  Larson is trained in all the major areas of family practice and is qualified to care for most of the medical needs of the entire family, from infants to the elderly.

Dr. Larson is a graduate of Concordia College, Moorhead, Minn., and the University of Minnesota, Duluth and Minneapolis. He became a member of Wadena Medical Center (WMC) in 1994, when he completed his residency in Sioux Falls, S.D. He is also board certified in family practice, which means he has fulfilled the necessary criteria established by the regulating board and has passed examinations that accredit him in the field of family practice.

Dr. Larson chose family practice medicine because of the variety of patients he treats every day. What he likes about being a physician at WMC is the small-town atmosphere and getting to know generations of families and individuals of all ages.

Off Duty Interests and Activities:

His hobbies include antique tractors (especially John Deere models), motorcycles, hunting, playing cello and spending time at the lake. He and his wife, Peggy, have three children and reside in Wadena.
