Dr. Kloss specializes in general surgery.
As a general surgeon, Dr. David Kloss specializes in the surgical treatment of a variety of diseases and conditions which involve the breast, stomach, esophagus, pancreas, gallbladder, lower intestines, hernia and abdomen, thyroid, parathyroid and minimally invasive surgery.
Board certified in general surgery, Dr. Kloss earned his medical degree from Pennsylvania State University in Hershey, Pennsylvania and completed his general surgery residency at Staten Island University Hospital in New York City, New York. Dr. Kloss’s undergraduate education started at the University of Rochester with an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering.
Dr. Kloss is a member of several professional organizations. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS). His special interests include thryroid, minimally invasive thoracic and vein surgery.
He is a military veteran, having proudly served in the U.S. Air Force reserves for 10 years and was an active duty surgeon at Offut Air Force base in Omaha, Nebraska in the early 1990s.
He has been with Wadena Medical Center and Tri-County Hospital since 2011.
